As a working student you support the team in the daily business, such as business developement, pricing and client services. In this role you will have the ability to learn about the reinsurance business from a range of perspectives.

 

Responsibilities

Supporting all day-to-day activities of the International Desk, in particular by

  • supporting the Medical Underwriting and Claims team to efficiently manage the daily review of cases (case summaries, documentation, translation),
  • preparing analysis required to efficiently conduct the reinsurance quotation process,
  • contributing to the business development efforts through activities ranging from market research to reinsurance treaty documentation

 

Dein Profil

Required experience & competencies

Essential:

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft packages (particularly Excel)
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-motivation
  • Excellent communication in English (French/Dutch as an advantage) and interpersonal skills

     

Desirable:

  • Team work
  • Customer focused
  • In early stages of studies to maintain a longer relationship

 

Required Education 

  • Currently studying for Business Administration, Mathematics, Economics or Medical Science at a  bachelor’s/master’s degree or equivalent education (intern position).
