Our Institute for Applied Polymer Physics (IAPP) is looking for a student with a background in organic chemistry and material sciences to collaborate in an interdisciplinary project.
Our offices and laboratories are located at Bundesstraße 45, 20146 Hamburg, near U Schlump.
Requisites
Currently studying BSc. or MSc. in Chemistry, Material Science or related study program.
Reliable, careful and conscientious work ethic.
A previous experience in the laboratory is desirable.
Interest in organic or material chemistry.
Basic knowledge of safe work guidelines in a chemistry laboratory.
Your tasks
Synthesis of organic monomers and conjugated polymers.
Characterization using NMR- GC-MS, FT-IR, UV-Vis and GPC.
Preparation of laboratory reports.
Collaboration on recurring cleaning tasks to ensure a functional laboratory.
