For our Soft X-Ray Port group, we are looking for a
Student Assistant for GUI Development
The Position
The goal of this project is to develop a GUI to display time resolved photoelectron spectroscopy data measured at the SXP instrument. The scope of the project includes:
- Development of a GUI to display data preprocessed with an existing library (toolbox-SXP)
- Adapt algorithms and analysis procedures to the GUI
- Collaborate in implementing visualisation tools based on EuXFEL data analysis tools
Dein Profil
Requirements
- BSc in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a similar field
- Good knowledge of Python, especially PyQt
- Highly motivated to work in an international team
- Really good knowledge of the English language
- Enrolled Student
The following are considered as assets:
- Experience with Git or a similar version control system
- Experience with software testing and continuous integration
