Key areas of responsibility and activities:

We are looking to recruit an intern to join Record Asset Management GmbH. The role will require an ambitious student who is seeking experience in asset management who is keen to build a comprehensive understanding of our products and strategies. The successful candidate should have an aptitude for fast learning and strong analytical skills.

 

Role requirements:

  • Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in either Economics, Maths, Finance or Business Administration.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a structured, reliable working style.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team, as well as independently.
  • Fluency in English and German is required.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support portfolio managers in the monitoring and analysis of investment portfolios across absolute return, private equity and infrastructure
  • Prepare investment reports, factsheets, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Support in administrative tasks like NAV reconciliation, capital calls
  • Conduct market research, including analysis of sectors
  • Support the preparation of investment memoranda and presentation materials to support investment recommendations
  • Support risk monitoring and compliance‑related tasks, ensuring adherence to internal guidelines and regulatory limits
  • Support the investment due diligence process, including the identification and mitigation of key risks
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of internal tools, processes, and data quality
  • Collaborate with other functions such as Risk Management, Compliance, Trading, and Operations
