English and Dutch-speaking guides for bike tours wanted (m/f/x) - Hamburg

About us
Since 2009, Hamburg City Cycles has been offering guided bike tours in and around Hamburg, as well as a bike rental service in St. Pauli.

For the upcoming season, we’re looking for enthusiastic Dutch-speaking tour guides to lead our guests through the city on two wheels.

Your role
As a tour guide, you’ll take groups from all over the world on relaxed bike tours through Hamburg, sharing fun facts, historical insights, and local stories at key spots along the way. Your job is to make sure everyone has a great time – whether they’re first-time visitors or seasoned travelers.

No expert on Hamburg yet? No problem! If you’re curious and eager to learn, we’ll help you get to know the city and its history so you can confidently guide our tours.

If you have special knowledge (e.g., architecture, urban development, specific neighborhoods, or additional languages), we also offer themed tours where you can bring in your expertise.

What we offer

• Flexible working hours – work more in the summer, less during exams

What we’re looking for

• Fluent in English or Dutch (German or any other language is a plus)

• Interest in Hamburg’s history & culture – prior knowledge is great, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are just as important

• Weekend & public holiday availability

• Love for cycling & being outdoors – rain or shine!
