Behavioral study at UKE: Hand perception - Hamburg

What’s it about?

We are looking for volunteers for a behavioral study. 

During the study, you will perform simple movements with your hand and we will ask you to make some estimates about your arm and hand location. In a second part, you will localize another participant's hand.

How long?

The study will last max. 2.5 hours.

What’s in it for you?

You will receive a €36 expense allowance for your participation.

When & where?

The study runs from October to December 2026 at UKE, building W34.

Available time slots are the following:
Monday, Oct. 26: 10:30-12:30

Tuesday, Oct. 27: 10:00-12:00 and 14:30-16:30

Wednesday, Oct. 28: 10:00-12:00 and 14:30-16:30

Thursday, Oct. 29: 10:30-12:30

Can you participate?

You can participate in the study if you…

• are between 18 and 45 years old

• are right-handed

• have no neurological or psychiatric disorder

• have normal or adjusted-to-normal vision (no glasses; contact lenses are ok)

• have no motor difficulties

• can speak (a basic level of) English
