to be filled. Starting date is as soon as possible. The position is limited to a period of 3 years.

 

The Computer Security and Privacy group led by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Delphine Reinhardt is seeking a highly motivated research assistant to pursue a doctoral

degree in an interdisciplinary research environment.

 

Your profile

  • A very good M.Sc. degree in computer science, human-computer interaction, or a related field,
  • Background in at least one of the following fields: privacy & security, HCI, interactive systems,
  • Strong programming skills,
  • Previous experience in conducting user studies,
  • Ability to work independently with strong teamwork and communication skills,
  • Very good command of both English and German,
  • Strong motivation to pursue a doctoral degree and contribute to high-impact interdisciplinary research.

Your main responsibilities

  • Conduct independent research on usable privacy and security, ranging from highlighting security and privacy issues encountered by users to

    desigining and evaluating human-centered solutions to address them,

  • Publishing and presenting the obtained scientific results at international peer-reviewed conferences and/or journals,
  • Supervising students in this area,
  • Active support in teaching activities according to §31 NHG and examinations.
