Your research will concentrate on data management in the age of artificial intelligence, with a strong emphasis on data privacy, data security, and privacy–utility trade-offs. Rather than focusing solely on event data for process optimization, your work will advance the design of innovative frameworks, methods, and tools that enable organizations to use data-driven and AI-supported services in a privacy-preserving, secure, and GDPR-compliant manner.
Key application areas include privacy-aware data analytics, differentially private data generation, and the development of privacy-enhancing technologies for modern information systems.
You will support the chair’s teaching activities through course design, teaching contributions, and student supervision. In addition, you will assist with organizational and administrative tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of the chair
Dein Profil
We are looking for highly motivated researchers (m/f/d) who approach their work with independence, initiative, and creativity. You will contribute directly to industry-collaborative projects as well as to the chair’s externally funded research initiatives. We expect you to publish and present your results at leading international conferences and journals in information systems (Wirtschaftsinformatik), computer science (Informatik), and related fields.
Research stays with our global academic and industry partners can be arranged based on project requirements and your academic development.
