JOB DEFINITION

As a Hardware Engineering student, you will work directly with our experienced Hardware Manager and take a hands-on role in the assembly, testing, and continuous improvement of our autonomous 3D digitization systems.

We are looking for someone who enjoys building things and solving practical problems. You don't need to know everything already – what matters is a hands-on mindset and the motivation to learn new skills when needed.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assembling and modifying mechanical and electrical system components
• Wiring, soldering, connecting components, and troubleshooting
• Mounting and integrating motors, sensors, cameras, and electronics
• Supporting testing, prototyping, and continuous system improvements

BACKGROUND & COMPETENCIES

Priorities

• Student in engineering, or another technical field
• Strong practical skills and a hands-on mentality
• Basic experience with mechanics and/or electrical installation
• Comfortable working independently with technical tools and equipment

Nice to Have

• Experience with wiring, soldering, or mechanical assembly
• CAD experience (e.g. Autodesk Inventor or similar)
• Experience with 3D printing and prototyping
• Personal technical, maker, or microcontroller projects

Depending on your interests, you'll also have the opportunity to learn and work with CAD, electronics, microcontrollers, rapid prototyping and 3D printing.
