Das Institut für Textil-und Fasertechnologien (ITFT) der Universität Stuttgart forscht auf dem Gebiet der kernlosen Wickeltechnologie (CorelessFilament Winding, CFW) für Faserverbundstrukturen. In einem laufenden Forschungsprojekt mit Partnern aus Industrie und Forschung wird eine automatisierte Prozesskette zur Herstellung von 2,5D-Faserverbund strukturen in Near-Net-Shape-Bauweise entwickelt. Der Prozess kombiniert kernloses Wickeln und den additiven Auftrag von Polymermischungen.

 

Ihre Aufgaben

  • Unterstützung bei der Herstellung von mechanischen Prüfkörpern
  • Durchführung und Auswertung von Versuchen Die Tätigkeiten finden an unserem Standort in Denkendorf (Körschtalstraße 26, 73770 Denkendorf) statt.

 

Qualifikationen

  • Interesse an Faserverbundtechnik/Leichtbau, ausgedrückt durch eine hohe Eigenmotivation
  • Selbstständiges und eigenverantwortliches Arbeiten
  • Sicherer Umgang mit MS Office
  • Vorkenntnisse und handwerkliche Fertigkeiten im Faserverbundbereich bevorzugt
  • Sicherer Umgang mit mind. einem gängigen CAD-Programm bevorzugt
  • Erfahrungen in der Durchführung/Auswertung von mech. Prüfungen wünschenswert
  • Grundkenntnisse in der Roboterprogrammierung (KUKA) sind wünschenswert

The Institute for Textile and Fiber Technologies (ITFT) of Stuttgart University conducts research on coreless filament winding (CFW) for fiber-reinforced composite structures. In an ongoing research project with industrial and research partners, an automated process chain is being developed for the production of 2.5D fiber-reinforced composite structures using a near-net-shape manufacturing process. The process combines coreless filament winding with additive application of polymer compounds.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Assist with the fabrication of specimens for mechanical testing
  • Conduct and evaluate experiments The position is based at our location in Denkendorf (Koerschtalstrasse26, 73770 Denkendorf).

 

Qualifications

  • Interest and intrinsic motivation for fiber composite technologies in lightweight construction
  • Independent and autonomous work
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Previous experience and hands-on skills in fiber composites preferred
  • Proficiency in at least one common CAD program is preferred
  • Experience in conducting and evaluating mechanical tests is desired
  • Basic knowledge of robot programming (KUKA) is desired
