We offer a Trainee position within our Northwest European (NWE) team that is responsible for property and casualty (P&C) treaty reinsurance in the UK, Nordics and the Netherlands. We are looking for a motivated young professional with or without reinsurance experience who is eager to get to know a leading reinsurer being located in the heart of Cologne. The traineeship is clearly focused on underwriting tasks, such as analysis of insurance portfolios and structuring of reinsurance contracts, however there will also be stages with all supporting functions like the actuarial, modeling, claims, accounting and legal departments. On top, there will be the possibility to participate in projects, both in Cologne and London. During the 24 months traineeship the trainee will be able to develop the necessary skillsset for a junior underwriter position.
