High quality visual content plays a crucial role in influencing travelers’ hotel selection process, making imagery a key content in our metasearch product. Would you like to be the creative force behind the images that influence millions of travel decisions daily and ensure that our users can find their ideal hotel at the best price?
We’re looking for a Student to join our team as a QA Engineer alongside passionate Software Engineers, QA Engineers and Product Owners, building, testing, and maintaining our image infrastructure.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Perform comprehensive quality testing on our image processing pipelines
- Develop and execute test cases identifying issues with image quality, metadata accuracy, and processing performance
- Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and content specialists to report, troubleshoot, and resolve visual content issues
- Design, maintain, and improve our test automation infrastructure using various frameworks such as Karate, REST assured, and Postman
- Implement scripts for automation using Python, Java, or other programming languages to optimize testing processes and increase test coverage
- Assist in monitoring and analyzing metrics related to image performance through SQL queries and data analysis techniques, helping identify areas for improvement in our visual content database.
- Apply your API testing knowledge to validate endpoints that deliver and process visual content, ensuring data integrity throughout our image ecosystem

What you'll need to thrive:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills allowing you to prioritize effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Fluency in English (verbally and written)
- Eager to learn, always striving for personal development
- Understanding of API testing
- Knowledge of writing SQL queries
- A good hands on experience with Python, Java or other programming language
- Understanding of test automation frameworks e.g. Karate, REST assured, Postman etc.
- Willingness to implement scripts for automation
- Previous experience or projects done related to databases or data analysis.
