This position is subject to the decision of the Joint Science Conference (GWK) on the Academies' Program 2026 on 28 November 2025, which includes the approval of funding for the long-term project "Mittelniederdeutsche Grammatik" applied for with the starting date 01.01.2026.
A university degree in a relevant field.
experience in Computational Linguistics, esp. modelling of linguistic levels
experience in one or more of the following areas:
datamanagement and modelling
software engineering, especially web architectures
representation of knowledge and large linguistic corpora
data visualization
historic language variants of German
very good command of written and spoken English and German
strong social and communication skills, initiative, motivation, high sense of responsibility, ability to work in a team and very good organizational skills
