Werkstudent – System Administration / DevOps (m/f/d) - Erlangen / Nürnberg

At fiveD, we develop high-fidelity radar simulation software used in demanding real-world applications such as autonomous mobility, aerospace, and security. Our work combines C++, Python, and scalable compute infrastructure to support complex simulation workflows.

To support our growing development and infrastructure needs, we’re looking for a motivated working student (m/f/d) to join our DevOps and system administration efforts and gain hands-on experience with real-world software and compute infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Support the maintenance and further development of internal Python-based services, including CLI tools and web applications

• Act as an interface between the development team and IT/system administration

• Assist with internal IT and development infrastructure

• Help deploy and maintain Linux-based development environments (Ubuntu)

• Support the evaluation and setup of cloud infrastructure with GPU support

• Contribute to the development of an S3-compatible storage interface for our simulation platform
