Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic, bilingual (German-English) Applications Engineer to join our Toronto team. This role is ideal for a recent mechanical engineering graduate and will primarily support our key German customers from our Canadian headquarters, focusing on technical applications and customer relationship management. The successful candidate may have opportunities for international growth, as we plan to expand operations and establish a new facility in Germany in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical applications support to our German and European customer base.
Assist in the development and delivery of solutions tailored specifically to client needs within the data center industry.
Serve as a liaison between German-speaking customers and internal engineering teams, ensuring clear communication and effective problem-solving.
Contribute to product development discussions, bringing customer insights and technical expertise to the team.
Support sales initiatives by participating in technical presentations and customer consultations.
Prepare technical documentation and training materials in both German and English.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
Fluent in German and English (spoken and written).
Interest in business development and customer relations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to travel occasionally to Germany, other European locations, and the United States.
Must be German citizen with passport.
