Job brief/Overview:

The Working student Service Management will work as a Help Desk / Assistant Service Delivery team of Telecoms sector company, will be responsible for coordinating between technical teams, field engineers, and the Network Operations Center (NOC) to ensure smooth maintenance of the live network. Your role will include tracking activities, monitoring SLA compliance, and managing inventory reports while assisting with the delivery of telecom services.

The working student is part of a multitask team and environment, willing to learn, must have a dynamic and tolerant attitude to changes, as well as flexibility and to effectively communicate across all organizational levels including co-workers, managers and customers.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Communication: Support and liase between the Technical Team, Field Engineers, and Network Operations Center (NOC) to ensure effective communication and issue resolution during the maintenance project.
  • Ticket Tracking & Monitoring: track the progress of all service tickets and ensure that tasks are completed in a timely manner to close tickets efficiently.Monitor activities undertaken by the teams and document updates for service resolution.
  • Inventory Management & Reporting: regularly update and report the inventory status to ensure proper HW availability. Maintain accurate records of regional inventory and provide updates to ensure that there are no shortages of equipment.

Main location Düsseldorf

 

 

The contract with Italtel is a working student contract with maximum 20hr a week.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for daily operations, reporting, and presentations. Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges quickly and effectively.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to manage relationships with vendors, field engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities while ensuring high standards of service delivery.
  • Respectfully interacting with others and willing to work in a team
  • Ability to follow change management procedures and processes.

 

Education:

  • Studying in technical discipline and/or relevant qualification in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, knowledge of telecom network maintenance and related processes

 

Languages:

  • English is required for daily communication and documentation., German is preferred for internal and vendor communication
