The Opportunity:

We are looking for an engineer to support us in the product development of mechanical components. This includes planning and construction of kinematic assemblies, design and integration of actuators, full development of new sub-systems.

Be significantly involved in the full hardware development process. This includes developing new concepts, testing prototypes and commissioning prototype production.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the hardware team in the development of mo:re´s robot.

  • Designing new concepts of automating process steps.

  • Planning, building and testing of prototypes.

  • Planning and ordering of components manufactured by suppliers.

Dein Profil

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.

  • Experience with CAD design.

  • Creating and reading technical drawings.

  • Practical experience in design for manufacturability.

  • Ability to fluently communicate in English and German (preferable).

  • Fundamental understanding of mechanics and kinematics.

  • Experience with common design methods.

Preferable qualifications:

  • Knowledge in Autodesk Fusion 360.

  • Experience with prototype design and testing.

  • Practical experience with common 3D printing processes.

  • Experience with sheet metal design.

  • Understanding of electronic circuits.

  • Experience working with microcontrollers, sensors and actuators.
