Main Responsibilities:

• Develop impactful backend and data pipeline features to automate our asset management processes
• Be an impactful contributor to the team to plan, design and develop sophisticated solutions
• Ship fast and a lot – as one of the first and most important hires in this project you will push code to production constantly with a big impact from the get-go
• Support the development of new features and work closely with the frontend team to speed up development 
• Establish best practices for a secure, scalable and reliable master data system 

Your Profile:

• SaaS/Marketplace/ECommerce startup or maritime/ logistics company is a big plus
• Preferably +2 years of experience in writing clean, maintainable code using e.g.: Phyton
• Preferably studying computer science, data science or a program with shipping exposure
• Highly self-organized, interested in taking over ownership and being proactive
• Strong knowledge of relational database technologies, ability to read and understand SQL 
• Understanding for good design practices with interest in developing tools and libraries
• Willingness to analyze existing structure and to document these
• Experience in business process analysis with financial and preferably shipping background
• Experienced user within Microsoft Office product suite, especially Excel
