We are seeking a strong candidate to join our BCG Global Advantage (GA) practice, to assist with conducting secondary research, internal meetings & events support, practice area daily administrative matters and diligently maintaining databases. You will help conduct research on business topics, create analyses leveraging data, coordinate project/ meeting plans, and help update data in databases.


The Global Advantage (GA) Practice Area is one of BCG's functional practice areas. The Global Advantage practice's objective is to help clients achieve global competitive advantage by leveraging opportunities in Emerging Markets as well as across borders. We focus on the following four pillars:

  • Commercialization: Developing differentiated business topics to drive revenue growth

  • Innovation: Investing in content development to further BCG’s position as a thought leaders in Globalization and Emerging Markets

  • Affiliation: Building a strong group of affiliates and enabling successful, global careers

  • Integration: Driving initiatives to help BCG operate as a global firm – across developed and emerging markets

On the commercialization front, we have been working with and through our industry and functional practices and client teams to develop a suite of capabilities to support clients at different stages of their globalization development.

We are focused on building 6 key businesses:

YOU’RE GOOD AT


Data handling

  • Good excel level: Confident managing large data sets and solid analytical skills

  • Ability to build, maintain and expand complex models


Secondary research

  • Conduct research on different business topics, e.g. digital ecosystems, joint venture transactions, multinational corporation success stories

  • Draft slides based on research

Meeting & Event Planning

  • Invitation and RSVP Processes

  • Logistics

  • Overall support


Administrative Support

  • Data (base) Management

  • Updating and creating PA Material

  • Supporting marketing & communications

You can work up to 20 hours/week during your semesters and up to 40 hours/week during your vacation time. The role offers enough flexibility to combine personal, academic and professional life. This is a temporary role from min. 12 to max. 24 months. You need to be an enrolled university student in Germany.

Dein Profil

  • Ongoing Bachelor’s or Master’s studies with good track record

  • Previous experience in a larger corporation as intern or working student

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills and willingness to enhance skill set

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills alongside a detailed and structured working style

  • Professional working style, strong interpersonal reliability, service and task-owner mentality

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple tasks in parallel

  • Quick learner - Willingness and ability to familiarize oneself quickly with new tools and ways of working

  • Demonstrates both creativity and structured-thinking in problem-solving, along with strong proactiveness

  • Team player & spirit of collaboration

  • Intellectual curiosity in international business & global topics is a plus
