Working student (m/f/d) quality management knives 10-20h / week

Hi! 

We are Black Chili, a young and innovative company developing super sharp kitchen knives. Our knives are designed in Berlin, forged by experienced blacksmiths in Asia, quality controlled in our Berlin warehouse and then sold at affordable prices across Europe. 

Our team consists of 10 employees. We work together and meet at eye level. Personal responsibility, freedom and a bit of fun are our top priorities for the everyday working day.

What will the job involve?

You will work together with our warehouse manager in our warehouse - located a short walk from Rathaus Neukölln U-Bahn station. Our communication languages are German or English. The weekly working hours are 15 - 20 hours completed over 2-3 days a week. 

What activities will I be doing?

• Every knife is individually quality checked
• Knives are packaged by hand and shipped to our fulfillment center and B2B customers
• Some of our packaging is hand-made and constructed in-house
• We are efficiency enthusiasts! Everybody is involved in the optimization of our workflows
• General warehouse logistics, organization and more

What we require from you:

• You are enrolled at a German university and can work as a working student
• You have a minimum of 2 free days to work with us at our warehouse
• You are interested and enthusiastic about working with your hands
• Ideally you will have an affinity towards chef's knives / crafts / tools
• You enjoy to work in a small team and have a readiness to: learn new things; progress quickly; take care with one’s work and colleagues.
